Victorian columns frame every celebration in the Gladstone Library, where 30,000 replica volumes line the walls just as they did when this room first opened its doors. We've watched countless wedding parties gasp as they enter this 27-metre-long space, their eyes drawn upward to the ornate chandeliers hanging from soaring ceilings, then across to the warm wood paneling that gives the room its distinctive character.
