The Terrace at Oddfellows On The Park opens directly onto the parkland, where century-old trees frame your celebration perfectly. Glass railings run the length of this semi-private outdoor space, letting you and your guests drink in those sweeping views across Bruntwood Park while you celebrate. We've furnished The Terrace with contemporary tables and chairs that work beautifully against the Victorian architecture of our 1860s mansion. During the day, natural light fills every corner, making it brilliant for relaxed brunches or afternoon gatherings. Come evening, we switch on the fairy lights strung overhead, transforming the space into something rather magical for cocktail receptions. Up to 100 guests can mingle comfortably here for standing receptions, or we can arrange seating for 45 if you prefer a more formal setup. The heated outdoor space means you can use The Terrace throughout the year, not just in summer. Many couples choose this spot for their drinks reception, where guests spill out from The Parlour Rooms to enjoy the park views. Our kitchen team creates everything from BBQ feasts to elegant canapés, working with seasonal ingredients from local suppliers. We cater for all dietary requirements, including halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free options. The bar sits just inside, making service smooth whether you're hosting afternoon tea or evening cocktails. The space works brilliantly for live music too, with acoustics that carry beautifully without disturbing the peacocks that wander the grounds. Step-free access means everyone can enjoy The Terrace comfortably, and with our large car park, your guests won't waste time hunting for spaces. Just four miles from Manchester Airport off the A34, we're easy to find yet feel wonderfully removed from city life.
