The Front Dining Room at The Grazing Goat welcomes you with the gentle clatter of cutlery on plates and the warm hum of conversation drifting from the main restaurant. This private space seats up to 35 guests comfortably, making it just right for those celebrations where everyone knows each other's name. Rich wooden tables run the length of the room, their surfaces polished to a warm glow that catches the afternoon light streaming through the large windows. We've hung contemporary artwork alongside classic pieces, creating talking points between courses, while pendant lamps cast pools of soft light over each table setting. Fresh flowers arrive daily, their subtle fragrance mixing with the aromas from our kitchen. When you book the Front Dining Room, we draw the curtains to separate you from the main restaurant, though the energy of the venue still pulses through. Our chefs prepare seasonal British dishes using ingredients from suppliers we've worked with for years, each plate telling a story of local farms and careful sourcing. You're welcome to bring your own wine and champagne, we'll simply add a corkage fee and provide the glasses. The wooden chairs might look rustic, but they're surprisingly comfortable for those long dinner parties where dessert turns into coffee and nobody wants to leave. We've hosted everything from birthday dinners where three generations gather around the table, to corporate functions where deals are sealed over our signature beef Wellington.
