The Hammer sits on our first floor, where original brick walls meet modern comfort in one of our most popular party spaces. We've kept the industrial character of this former blacksmith's workshop while creating somewhere genuinely comfortable for groups to celebrate together. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime parties, while evening events take on a more intimate feel under our vintage-style lighting. The green painted ceiling adds unexpected character, complemented by carefully chosen artwork that tells the story of our building's forge heritage. We've arranged the seating to encourage conversation, with enough flexibility to adapt the layout for different party styles. The room works brilliantly for groups of up to 35 standing or 24 seated around tables. Birthday parties love the semi-private feel, where you're part of the pub's energy but still have your own defined space. Work celebrations appreciate the flatscreen TV for speeches or photo slideshows, and the air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable even when the party gets lively. Our kitchen sends up all the pub classics direct to your party, from sharing platters to full sit-down meals. The bar team can set up a tab for your group, serving our rotating craft beers and signature cocktails throughout your event. Being just minutes from Clapham Junction means guests find us easily, and many end up staying later than planned once they settle into the atmosphere. The Hammer connects naturally with the rest of our three-floor venue, so party guests can explore our Arrowsmiths darts experience downstairs or step out to our courtyard beer garden when they fancy some fresh air. We've hosted everything from 30th birthdays to engagement celebrations here, each party bringing its own energy to this characterful Battersea space.
