Walking through the stone archways into our Sunken Gardens feels like discovering a secret world, where 300 of your guests can celebrate surrounded by flowering borders and the gentle splash of our central water feature. We've watched countless parties unfold here across the seasons, from summer garden parties with Pimm's on the lawn to autumn celebrations under our marquee, fairy lights twinkling overhead as dusk falls. The gardens sit within our 100-acre parkland estate, creating a natural amphitheatre effect that makes every event feel wonderfully intimate despite the generous capacity. White wrought-iron furniture dots the manicured lawns, giving your guests plenty of spots to gather between the herbaceous borders bursting with colour. Our marquee stands ready for dining or dancing, and we've learnt over the years exactly where to position the bar for the best flow, usually near the stone pathways that wind through the space. What makes parties here special is how the mature trees and established hedges create such privacy, you'd never guess Barnes railway station is just a short walk away. We're tucked next to Richmond Park in southwest London, with plenty of free parking on site, so your guests won't struggle to find us despite the secluded feel. The water feature becomes quite the focal point as evening arrives, especially when we light it up for night-time celebrations. Our grounds team keep everything immaculate throughout the year, from the spring bulbs that herald the party season to the rich autumn colours that frame harvest celebrations.
