The Dining Room and Terrace at Chaophraya Newcastle brings together indoor sophistication with outdoor charm right in the heart of Grey's Quarter. Step through to our private dining space where rich wooden floors meet Thai-inspired artwork, creating an atmosphere that feels both professional and welcoming. The long, sleek table surrounded by plush high-backed chairs seats up to 30 guests comfortably, while soft lamp lighting sets just the right mood for your gathering. What makes this space particularly versatile is how it flows onto our covered terrace, where up to 50 guests can enjoy drinks and canapes. The retractable roof means Newcastle's weather won't dictate your plans, and we've created a proper outdoor feel with artificial grass underfoot and white seating arrangements positioned to make the most of those Grey's Monument views. String lights overhead transform the space as evening arrives, while decorative wooden screens and Thai statues remind guests they're somewhere special. We've equipped the dining room with a mounted TV screen that proves invaluable for corporate presentations or even screening important matches during celebration dinners.
