Full Venue at The Market Tavern brings together everything we love about a proper British pub with the space to really celebrate. Book the entire place and you've got room for 200 guests standing or 80 seated across our ground floor pub and upstairs Chesterfield Room, each with its own distinct personality. The main bar downstairs showcases our collection of craft beers, fine wines and artisan spirits on industrial-style shelving that catches the eye against our polished wood bar. Rich wood paneling runs throughout, paired with vintage fixtures that have been here since Victorian times. We've arranged plush upholstered chairs around wooden tables to create pockets of conversation, while large windows flood the space with natural light during daytime events. Our upstairs Chesterfield Room adds another dimension with its boudoir-inspired furnishings and private bar, giving you flexibility in how you use the spaces. Some clients use downstairs for drinks and mingling, then move groups upstairs for more intimate moments during the evening. The original period details and tasteful artwork throughout give each area its own character while maintaining that cohesive pub atmosphere. The kitchen stays busy turning out British classics using ingredients from local suppliers we've worked with for years. Fish and chips, hearty pies, and juicy burgers share menu space with vegetarian and gluten-free options, all prepared fresh for your event. Our bar team knows their craft too, ready to pour throughout your celebration. Tucked into Shepherd Market with Green Park station just a short walk away, we offer something different from typical Mayfair venues.
