The red sandstone walls of this former railway station hold two floors of celebration space, where Victorian architecture meets contemporary comfort. We've transformed the original Kelvinside Station building into something special, and our Function Suite showcases exactly why this venue has become such a beloved spot for Glasgow gatherings. Your event unfolds across two private floors, each with its own distinct character. The lower level greets you with our intimate bar area, where pendant lighting catches the gleam of hanging glassware and potted greenery softens the original terracotta tiles. This becomes the natural gathering point as your guests arrive, with the warm lighting and heritage features creating immediate conversation starters. Climb our original staircase to discover the main function space, where tall windows flood the room with natural light by day and frame the evening atmosphere after dark. We can arrange banquet seating for up to 90 guests here, with crisp white linens and your choice of centrepieces transforming the space for seated dinners. When dinner concludes, the dedicated dance floor beckons, with plenty of room for 120 guests at a standing reception. One of our favourite features sits just beyond the bar area, our private outdoor terrace, licensed until midnight. Whether your guests step out for fresh air between dances or you plan sunset drinks before dinner, this unexpected outdoor space adds another dimension to your celebration. The suite includes its own private landing with dedicated cloakroom and facilities, meaning your party remains completely self-contained throughout the evening. Transport couldn't be simpler, with excellent links nearby making it easy for guests to arrive and depart. Our Function Suite adapts beautifully to birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate celebrations or any gathering where you want somewhere with genuine character and flexible spaces.
