Step outside into our Garden Private Hire space and you'll find yourself in a completely different world from the Shepherds Bush Road just beyond our walls. This outdoor haven wraps around the back of our Victorian pub, where we've created something rather special for celebrations of all kinds. The wooden pergola overhead is strung with fairy lights that come into their own as dusk falls, while during the day, transparent roof panels let natural light flood the space. We've furnished the garden with bright blue and green chairs that guests always comment on - they're surprisingly comfortable for outdoor furniture and add a splash of colour against the floral mural that decorates our walls. The tables fit neatly under the pergola, and we can arrange them for 50 seated guests or clear more space for up to 70 people standing with drinks. Our kitchen serves the same seasonal British menu out here as in the main dining room, though there's something about eating outdoors that makes everything taste better. Birthday parties work brilliantly in this space, especially when the weather cooperates. We've hosted everything from afternoon teas with proper tiered stands to evening drinks receptions where guests spill out onto the terrace as conversations flow. Practical touches make hosting easier - we've installed WiFi throughout the garden, mounted a flatscreen TV that's useful for presentations or match days, and keep flipchart facilities on hand. The space is completely accessible from ground level, with wheelchair-friendly paths and accessible toilets nearby. Storage areas mean coats and bags don't clutter the tables. Just five minutes' walk from Hammersmith Station, your guests can easily find us whether they're coming from central London or further afield. The garden stays open from morning through late evening, giving you flexibility with timing for your celebration.
