Our bright yellow walls have witnessed everything from raucous 40th birthdays to intimate engagement parties, and we're ready to hand over the entire pub for your celebration. Taking over the whole of The Sun In Splendour means your guests can flow between our bustling main bar, quieter corners perfect for catching up, and our much-loved beer garden, creating different moods throughout your event. The main bar area becomes party central when filled with up to 150 guests for standing receptions, while our mix of high and low wooden tables, bar stools and comfortable chairs means we can also create a more intimate dining setup for 50. Those large windows flooding the space with natural light during afternoon parties transform beautifully come evening, when our ornate ceiling details and warm lighting create the perfect party atmosphere. Our original wooden floors have seen decades of celebrations, and they're ready for yours too. Our beer garden really comes into its own for parties, with sheltered seating areas and that wood burner keeping things cosy even when British weather doesn't cooperate. Summer birthdays tend to spill out here naturally, drinks in hand, while winter celebrations huddle around the fire pit creating their own special atmosphere. The space works brilliantly whether you're hosting 30 close friends or filling both indoor and outdoor areas with 150 guests. Behind our fully-stocked bar, you'll find an impressive selection of craft beers, carefully chosen wines, and we mix a proper cocktail when your party calls for it. Our kitchen serves British pub classics alongside plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, from sharing boards and buffets to full à la carte menus.
