The Empire Room sits seven floors above Shoreditch, where charcoal grey walls meet floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the East London skyline. Up here on the 7th floor, natural light pours across the space throughout the day, shifting as the sun moves from the morning bustle of Great Eastern Street to the golden hour glow over the city's rooftops. We've kept the design deliberately minimal, letting the industrial bones of the space speak for themselves. Those same windows that flood the room with light become your backdrop when the sun sets, transforming corporate drinks into something more memorable as the city lights begin to flicker on below. The room works beautifully for up to 80 guests at a reception, giving everyone space to move between conversations without feeling cramped. Our events team regularly reconfigures the space depending on what you need. We've set it up boardroom-style for strategy sessions that spill into evening celebrations, arranged cabaret seating for product launches with presentations, and cleared the floor entirely for cocktail parties where the view becomes the main attraction. The industrial elements, softened by carefully placed greenery and florals, create an atmosphere that feels both professional and relaxed. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Liverpool Street and Old Street stations both within walking distance. Your guests can step straight from the Underground into our lifts and emerge into this sky-high space. We've hosted everything from agency Christmas parties to startup launch events, birthday celebrations to creative workshops. The room's versatility means we can adapt to whatever vision you have, whether that's an elegant drinks reception or a more casual gathering where colleagues can finally catch up properly outside the office.
