At Wagtail, our 9th Floor Restaurant sits high above King William Street, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame some of London's most photographed landmarks. From your table, you'll watch the Thames curve past Tower Bridge while St Paul's dome catches the afternoon light, with The Shard piercing the skyline beyond. We've dressed the space in deep green velvet and warm gold accents that complement the original Art Deco features of this 1920s building. The parquet floors gleam under statement lighting fixtures, while our VIP bar, with its intricate metalwork design, anchors one end of the room. During evening events, the city lights create their own theatre through the windows as your guests move between the bar and dining areas. The restaurant works beautifully for different party formats. We can arrange formal dining for 60 guests at round tables, or clear the floor for cocktail receptions hosting up to 150 people. Our events team regularly transforms the space for milestone birthdays, engagement celebrations and corporate parties, adjusting the lighting and music to match each occasion. Our kitchen prepares everything fresh on-site, from canapés during drinks receptions to three-course dinners featuring British ingredients like fillet of cod and grass-fed sirloin. The bar team crafts signature cocktails alongside our carefully chosen wine list, keeping glasses topped up throughout your celebration. The space comes with built-in sound systems for speeches or background music, full air conditioning for summer parties, and lift access for all guests. We're just a three-minute walk from Cannon Street Station, with Monument Station equally close. Our dedicated events team handles all the logistics, from initial planning through to the final toast, ensuring your celebration unfolds exactly as you pictured it against London's glittering skyline.
