The grand arched windows that span the walls of our Whole Venue catch the morning light beautifully, transforming the former Commonwealth Bank of Australia building into something rather special for your celebration. With original high ceilings soaring above polished wooden floors, we can accommodate up to 390 guests for standing receptions or 290 for seated dinners, giving you plenty of room to create exactly the atmosphere you're after. Our main floor flows naturally between dining spaces and the bar area, where our wooden counter stretches invitingly, backed by an extensive collection of premium spirits, wines and handcrafted cocktails. For larger gatherings, the mezzanine level comes into its own, complete with its own dedicated bar that keeps the drinks flowing without queues forming below. The grand staircase connecting the two floors becomes quite the talking point, especially when guests first arrive and take in the full scale of the space. We prepare everything in our kitchens from scratch, whether you're planning passed canapés for a cocktail reception or a formal five-course wedding breakfast. Our team works with you to create menus that suit your event perfectly, with standalone gluten-free options and children's dishes available alongside our seasonal British brasserie fare. The bar team can craft bespoke cocktail menus or suggest wine pairings for each course. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Bank Station just moments away offering DLR, Underground and national rail connections. During weekends and bank holidays, you'll have exclusive use of the entire venue. We work on minimum spend arrangements rather than hire fees, which our events team will discuss with you along with layout options, AV requirements and any special touches you'd like to include for your wedding, corporate function or celebration.
