Room 2 comes alive when the lights dim and the bass drops through our professional sound system. We've designed this space for 300 standing guests who want to dance, celebrate and create memories in York city centre. The dedicated DJ booth sits perfectly positioned above the dance floor, where your chosen DJ can work the crowd while our LED lighting system responds to the music's rhythm. Five distinct zones flow naturally throughout the room. The main dance floor draws everyone in eventually, but we've created pockets where groups can catch up over drinks without shouting. Our private bar runs the full length of one wall, staffed to keep service quick even when the room hits capacity. The plush booth seating offers refuge for those needing a breather, positioned so people can still watch the action unfold. We control every element from our technical booth. The sound carries cleanly whether you're right by the speakers or tucked into a corner booth. Our LED panels shift through programmed sequences or respond live to what's happening on the dance floor. When birthday parties book us, we time the confetti cannons perfectly. For corporate celebrations switching from presentations to party mode, our AV setup handles both seamlessly. The space works hard all week. Hen parties love starting here before exploring York's nightlife. Company events use our flexibility to blend networking with proper celebration. Birthday groups appreciate how our team coordinates everything from arrival drinks to that moment when everyone's on the dance floor at midnight.
