Musical theatre meets Soho nightlife in The Room Where It Happens, where Broadway posters share wall space with portraits of legendary local characters. We've created this space for those who want their events to feel like opening night, complete with stained-glass windows casting theatrical shadows and chandeliers that wouldn't look out of place above a West End stage. The room transforms to match your vision, holding 140 guests for standing receptions where people spill between the bar and dance floor, or arranged more formally with theatre-style seating for 50. Our cabaret setup seats 70 around tables perfect for dinner shows, while the U-shaped configuration for 70 works brilliantly when you need everyone engaged in presentations or interactive entertainment. The plush seating invites guests to settle in for longer celebrations, while warm, low lighting creates that backstage-at-the-interval atmosphere throughout. We've equipped the space with everything modern events demand: reliable Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected, our PA system handles everything from background music to full performances, and air conditioning ensures comfort even when the party peaks. You're welcome to bring your own DJ or playlist, though many groups end up creating impromptu singalongs that echo through our wood-paneled walls. Greek Street puts you right in Soho's creative quarter, with Tottenham Court Road Station just minutes away. The space works beautifully for birthday parties where the guest of honour dreams of their name in lights, company celebrations that break from boardroom predictability, or pre-theatre gatherings that become the main event. Our late-night licence means curtain call comes when you decide, not when the clock demands, making The Room Where It Happens the stage for celebrations that guests replay long after the final bow.
