Step through the carved wooden doors and you're greeted by soaring ceilings crowned with crystal chandeliers that catch the afternoon light streaming through tall windows. Our Ringwood Suite embodies everything we love about our Victorian manor, with its intricate ceiling moldings and deep red drapery creating an atmosphere that's both grand and welcoming. We've carefully preserved the room's original features while ensuring it works perfectly for today's meetings and conferences. The suite comfortably accommodates groups from 60 in classroom style up to 160 theatre-style, with the flexibility to arrange seating however works best for your event. Our team regularly transforms the space from morning board meetings to afternoon presentations, adjusting layouts between U-shaped configurations for 60 delegates or cabaret style for 150. The plush patterned carpeting helps with acoustics while adding warmth to the space, and we've installed all the technical equipment you'll need. Our PA system and sound equipment ensure everyone can hear clearly, whilst the LCD projector and screen make presentations straightforward. Wi-Fi runs throughout, and we keep flipcharts and a lectern ready for traditional presenting styles. What makes this suite particularly special is how the historic architecture enhances different types of gatherings. Morning light fills the room beautifully for breakfast meetings, while the chandeliers create an elegant ambience for evening receptions hosting up to 200 guests. The high ceilings give even larger groups room to breathe, preventing that closed-in feeling common in modern conference spaces. Being just minutes from Chesterfield town centre means delegates can easily pop out during breaks, and we offer plenty of free parking for those driving. The M1 is nearby for attendees travelling from further afield, whilst the Peak District views from our 29-acre grounds provide a refreshing backdrop during coffee breaks on our terraces.
