Walking through the Orchard Building to the Cherry Room, you'll find one of our most characterful small meeting spaces. The room's cherry-themed artwork gives it its name, while the original fireplace reminds you this isn't just another corporate box. We've arranged the space around an oval table that comfortably seats 12 people boardroom-style. The black leather chairs are the kind you can actually sit in for hours without fidgeting, and there's proper elbow room for everyone. If you prefer classroom layout, we can reconfigure for 8 delegates, or create a U-shape for more interactive sessions. The LCD screen connects easily to laptops via HDMI, positioned so everyone can see presentations without craning their necks. We keep flipcharts, pens and notebooks ready in the room, plus fresh iced water throughout your meeting. Small touches like the bowl of sweets on the sideboard tend to disappear quickly during afternoon sessions. What makes the Cherry Room work particularly well is its location in the Orchard Building, separate from our main hotel operations. You won't hear wedding preparations or breakfast service, just the occasional footstep in the corridor. The patterned carpet absorbs sound nicely, creating good acoustics for discussions. Previous clients tell us they appreciate how the room feels professional yet relaxed. The cherry accents and that original fireplace create talking points during coffee breaks, while the practical setup means technology actually works when you need it. Natural light filters in without creating screen glare, though we have effective blinds when presentations demand darkness. Being just five minutes' walk from Leicester station makes arrival straightforward, and our car park behind the building saves hunting for street spaces. New Walk itself provides a peaceful tree-lined route if anyone fancies stretching their legs between sessions.

I would recommend the Belmont Leicester as a meeting venue, its a charming hotel with excellent facilities and lovely staff. the room was perfect and very good value.
