The Dean John Simpson Room combines the warmth of exposed wooden beams with the practical needs of modern meetings. Part of our Kentish Barn conversion, this space features soundproof walls that create a focused environment, while large windows frame Canterbury Cathedral's ancient stonework just metres away. We've configured this room countless times for different groups. The flexible layout accommodates 14 people around our boardroom table for strategy sessions, or we can arrange theatre-style seating for 40 when you need presentation format. The high, vaulted ceiling gives breathing room to big ideas, while natural light streams through those cathedral-view windows throughout the day. Our AV equipment is built right into the room, ready when you arrive. The wooden paneling absorbs sound beautifully, making conversations clear whether you're presenting quarterly results or brainstorming new projects. During breaks, your team can step out into the Campanile Garden, where the cathedral bells mark the hours while you stretch your legs among the flower beds. Being within the UNESCO World Heritage Site grounds means something special happens here.
