Our Performance Space transforms throughout the week, hosting everything from corporate training sessions to dance workshops in a room that once welcomed Mercury Award nominees and MOBO winners. The space combines professional functionality with creative atmosphere, featuring automated cinema screens that descend smoothly for presentations, while dance mirrors line the walls for movement workshops and rehearsals. Natural light pours through large windows across wooden floors, creating an energising environment for daytime meetings. When evening approaches, our blackout blinds and professional lighting rig completely change the mood, whether you're hosting a film screening or team celebration. The PA system handles everything from conference presentations to performance pieces, adapting to each event's specific needs. We configure the space to match your requirements. Theatre-style seating accommodates 90 guests, or 58 with our tiered seating arrangement for better sightlines. Round tables work perfectly for training sessions or networking events, seating 60 cabaret-style, while boardroom setup handles 32 participants comfortably. The open floor plan allows complete flexibility for workshops, exhibitions, or activities requiring movement. Our venue sits just minutes from the city centre by tram, making it convenient for attendees travelling from across Nottingham. The surrounding Hyson Green area offers plenty of local amenities, and our building includes accessible facilities throughout. Our in-house Corner Café provides plant-based catering options drawing from global cuisines, supporting productive meetings with food that reflects the cultural diversity celebrated in our galleries. Technical requirements rarely pose challenges here. The projector and screen system supports all standard presentation formats, while our team assists with setup and troubleshooting.
