Walking into Parker Morris Hall, you'll immediately notice the traditional timber beams stretching across the ceiling, a feature that gives this generous space real character. We've hosted everything from large conferences to intimate board meetings here, and the room adapts beautifully to different needs. The hall accommodates up to 200 people when arranged theatre-style, which works brilliantly for lectures and presentations. Many groups prefer our cabaret layout for 80 guests when they want delegates to work together at tables, while boardroom and U-shaped configurations suit groups of up to 40 who need face-to-face discussion. The small stage at one end proves particularly useful for speakers and panel discussions. Natural light pours through the large windows throughout the day, keeping the atmosphere bright and energetic. We've equipped the space with a projector and speakers, plus complimentary Wi-Fi that actually works reliably, even when the room is full. Flipcharts with pens are ready to use, and the colourful banners on the walls add warmth to what might otherwise feel like a corporate environment. Our venue sits on Great Smith Street, roughly 10 minutes' walk from both St James's Park and Westminster stations. Victoria Station is about 15 minutes away on foot. The Wash House Café downstairs serves coffee and snacks from 8 am, with hot lunches available between noon and 2:15 pm. Many groups order refreshments directly to the hall, particularly during all-day sessions. We offer flexible booking slots: mornings run 9:00-12:30, afternoons 13:30-17:00, and evenings 18:00-21:00. Earlier or later access can be arranged. While the room can warm up during summer months, we ensure water is always available and do our best to keep everyone comfortable throughout their event.
