Our Lord Curzon room sits on the first floor of the main house, where windows frame the courtyard below and fill the space with natural light throughout the day. We've preserved the Victorian character here, with a patterned carpet that echoes the era's design sensibilities and a central chandelier that casts warm light across your meetings. The room comfortably hosts up to 30 delegates in theatre style, though we find many groups prefer the boardroom setup for 20 or our U-shape configuration for 11 participants when deeper discussion is needed. For training sessions, we can arrange classroom seating for 24, while cabaret style works wonderfully for 16 when you want to encourage small group work. Air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable regardless of the season or group size. Being on the first floor gives you a sense of privacy while still keeping you connected to the rest of our venue. The neutral colour palette creates a calm backdrop that helps maintain focus during long strategy sessions or workshops. We've hosted everything from board meetings to team training days here, and the flexibility of the space means we can adapt it to match your specific requirements. The courtyard views provide a pleasant visual break during intense discussions, and you'll find the natural light particularly helpful for all-day sessions. Located just outside Basingstoke with straightforward access from the M3, reaching us from Reading takes about 30 minutes, while Southampton is roughly 45 minutes away. Free parking means your delegates won't need to worry about that detail when they arrive.
