The Bessemer Suite brings together everything you need for productive small meetings in one thoughtfully designed space. We've arranged plush red chairs around polished tables that can be configured exactly how you need them, whether that's boardroom style for 14 people, theatre layout for presentations to 20 guests, or banquet arrangement for 18 attendees. Natural light pours through the suite's large windows, dressed with elegant drapes that frame views across Leopold Square. The warm neutral walls and richly patterned carpet create an atmosphere where people feel comfortable settling in for longer sessions. We find the 26.6 square metres works particularly well for interviews, training sessions, and team workshops where you want everyone engaged without feeling crowded. Our venue occupies a beautifully restored 19th-century grammar school, and you'll notice the careful attention to preserving its character throughout. The Bessemer Suite maintains this heritage feel whilst incorporating everything modern meetings require. Air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable regardless of Sheffield's weather, and we've installed a projector and screen that connects easily to laptops for presentations. The complimentary Wi-Fi handles video calls and file sharing without any issues. During breaks, your guests often appreciate stepping out to our ground floor lounge bar or terrace. The central Leopold Square location means coffee shops and lunch spots are right on the doorstep, and Sheffield's main train station sits within easy walking distance for those travelling in for the day. We can also arrange the space in U-shape formation for 10 participants when you need more collaborative discussions, or clear the furniture entirely to accommodate up to 40 guests for standing receptions. Whatever configuration works best for your meeting, we'll have everything ready before you arrive.
