The First Floor Hall works brilliantly for companies hosting mid-sized conferences and training events. We've welcomed up to 220 delegates here for theatre-style presentations, though the L-shaped layout also creates interesting possibilities for exhibitions and networking sessions where 300 guests can move freely around the space. Natural daylight floods through the windows, keeping your team energised during full-day sessions. The soft green walls and wooden flooring create a professional yet relaxed atmosphere that our regular clients particularly appreciate. We maintain the temperature year-round with air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, so whether you're running a summer workshop or winter conference, everyone stays comfortable. Our technical setup includes a ceiling-mounted LCD projector and large pull-down screen positioned for clear visibility throughout the room. The space comes equipped with our standard AV package, and our technical team remains available to assist with any presentation needs during your event. The room's flexibility really shines through in how we can configure it. Beyond the standard theatre layout for 220, we regularly arrange cabaret seating for 112 delegates when groups need table space for laptops and materials. For board meetings, we can accommodate 54 around our conference tables, while U-shaped arrangements work well for 44 participants in interactive sessions. When clients book training days with us, the classroom setup for 52 provides everyone with writing space. Located on the first floor with lift access, the hall remains fully accessible for all attendees. The venue sits just a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly station on Sidney Street, with several car parks nearby for those driving in. Our catering team provides refreshments throughout your meeting, from morning coffee service through to working lunches, all prepared fresh in our kitchen.
