Our meeting room sits just above the station concourse, where trains rumble in from across the country every few minutes. You'd never guess it once you're inside, though. The Japanese-inspired design creates this unexpected pocket of calm, with clean wooden surfaces and soft grey walls that seem to absorb the city's noise. Eight people fit comfortably around our boardroom table, each with a properly cushioned chair that won't leave you shifting about during longer sessions. Natural light pours in through the windows, giving you glimpses of the Victorian ironwork and the constant flow of commuters below. We've positioned the large wall-mounted screen so there's no glare, and the built-in camera and sound bar handle video calls without any fuss. The pendant lights overhead cast a warm glow when the afternoon sun starts to fade, and we've kept decoration minimal, just a couple of pieces that add character without cluttering your sightlines. There's a side table where we set up tea and coffee service, proper cups and saucers, none of those paper alternatives. What makes this space work so well is its practicality. The technology connects instantly, no hunting for cables or calling IT support. The acoustics keep your conversations private, despite trains arriving and departing just below. Our reception team ensures everything's ready before you arrive, from the room temperature to having fresh water glasses on the table. Being inside Waterloo Station means your attendees can step off their train and be in the meeting within minutes. After your session, Lower Marsh Market offers quick lunch options, or you could walk to the South Bank in under ten minutes. The room handles everything from confidential board discussions to creative workshops, adapting to whatever your day demands.
