Our Cayley Room feels like stepping into a private study where important conversations naturally unfold. Book-lined shelves create an atmosphere that's both scholarly and welcoming, with colourful volumes providing the perfect backdrop for your board meetings or strategy sessions. The large central table, dressed in crisp white linens, comfortably seats up to 20 delegates boardroom style, while the traditional wooden chairs and parquet flooring add warmth that modern meeting spaces often lack. Fresh flowers grace the table daily, and patterned wallpaper adds character without overwhelming the space. What really sets this room apart is how natural light flows through the large windows and glass doors, which open directly onto our riverside garden. During warmer months, we often see groups spilling out onto the terrace for coffee breaks or continuing discussions in the fresh air. The room adapts beautifully to different configurations. We can arrange it classroom-style for 16 participants, theatre-style for presentations to 40 guests, or clear the space for reception-style networking events accommodating 40 people. For more intimate dinner meetings, round tables work perfectly for groups of 16 to 30. You'll find all the technical essentials here, including reliable wireless internet and a projector for presentations. The ground floor location means easy access for all attendees, and being right next to our Garden House bar, refreshment breaks couldn't be more convenient. When you need blackout facilities for presentations, we have those ready too. The venue sits in the heart of Cambridge with excellent public transport connections, making it simple for delegates to reach us from the station or pop out to explore the historic colleges during lunch. The combination of academic atmosphere, modern amenities, and that all-important garden access creates a meeting space that inspires productive discussions and memorable outcomes.
