The Hemming Suite combines our Conservatory and Function Room through a clever partition system, creating our largest meeting space that regularly hosts conferences for 150 delegates. Three LCD projectors mounted across the room mean your presentations stay visible from every seat, whether you're running a training day for 100 in classroom style or hosting an AGM in theatre layout. Natural light pours through the windows along one side, though we've installed adjustable lighting for when you need to dim the room for presentations. The staging area and speaker's podium at the front give your keynote speakers a proper platform, while our integrated hearing loop system ensures everyone can follow along. We've found the air conditioning particularly appreciated during summer conferences when the room is at full capacity. Our team frequently reconfigures this space depending on what works best for each event. Round tables for 120 create an excellent cabaret setup for fundraising dinners where guests need to network between courses. The boardroom layout works well for smaller strategic planning sessions, while the reception setup accommodates up to 200 for standing events with networking. The audio-visual setup includes not just the projectors but built-in speakers throughout the room, so whether someone's presenting financial results or running an interactive workshop, the technology supports rather than hinders. Our Event Manager coordinates with your IT requirements beforehand, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day. Being our largest room, The Hemming Suite often serves as the main conference space while our smaller rooms handle breakout sessions. The partition can stay closed if you only need half the space, giving you flexibility in both size and budget. Free WiFi throughout means delegates stay connected, and our catering team can serve anything from morning coffee to full working lunches directly in the room.
