Meeting Room 8&9 spreads across what used to be two separate spaces, now opened up to create one of our largest meeting areas. The exposed concrete ceiling and industrial ductwork remind you this building has been here since the 1930s, while floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light from Old Street below. We've arranged 34 seats around modular tables for boardroom meetings, though we regularly reconfigure the layout for theatre-style presentations accommodating up to 50 people. The bright yellow chairs might catch your eye first, but it's the flexibility that our members appreciate most. Training sessions in the morning transform into conference setups by afternoon, with our team handling the changeover between bookings. The projection screen dominates one wall, paired with AV equipment that handles everything from PowerPoint presentations to video conferences. We've positioned the sideboard where catering naturally flows, whether that's morning pastries or working lunches. Just remember to give our café team two days' notice for catering orders, they're particular about getting the food just right. Previous guests consistently mention how smoothly their events run here. One organiser particularly thanked our team for securing this room last-minute, while others highlighted the professional setup that meant they could focus on their content rather than logistics. The coat rack by the door might seem like a small detail, but when you're hosting 40 people in January, these practical touches matter. Being just moments from Old Street station means attendees arrive easily from across London. The surrounding tech companies and creative agencies make this a natural meeting point for the industries that define modern Shoreditch. After your session, the rooftop terrace offers a different atmosphere for informal follow-up conversations, especially during summer months when East London's skyline provides the backdrop.
