The copper dome of our Planetarium building houses one of Greenwich's most intriguing meeting spaces. When you step into the Endeavour Room, the first thing that strikes you is the dramatic curved ceiling soaring overhead, its architectural sweep creating an atmosphere quite unlike conventional boardrooms. We've positioned this circular chamber at the top of our late-Victorian Astronomy Centre, where daylight pours through carefully placed windows throughout your meeting. Our custom-built round table anchors the room, crafted specifically to seat twelve delegates in a configuration where everyone faces each other as equals. We've integrated the AV equipment directly into the table, so your presentations flow naturally without trailing cables or awkward setups. The plasma screen mounted on the wall connects seamlessly with the provided laptop, and we include slide clickers and stable internet connectivity as standard. Books on astronomy and carefully selected astronomical memorabilia line the walls, reminding participants they're meeting in a building dedicated to the study of time and space. The scholarly atmosphere tends to elevate discussions, we find, while the plush carpeting and ergonomic seating keep everyone comfortable during longer sessions. A spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine level, adding architectural interest and creating the sense of being in a working observatory. Your delegates can arrive via Cutty Sark DLR station just minutes away, or Greenwich mainline station for those coming from central London. The Maritime Greenwich setting means breaks can include walks through the historic park or quick visits to see the Prime Meridian line. Our venue coordinators handle the logistics, from arranging working lunches to ensuring your technology requirements are met, letting you focus entirely on your meeting objectives in this remarkable domed space where Victorian architecture meets modern business needs.
