Our lower ground floor hosts the Robert Runcie Room, a 161-square-metre space that adapts beautifully to whatever you have in mind. The clean lines and contemporary design create the perfect backdrop for focused boardroom discussions with up to 30 colleagues, or transform it into a theatre layout when you need to present to 60 attendees. The 75" LED screen anchors one end of the room, while our hard-wired connectivity means you can link up with other spaces throughout the building when your meeting grows beyond these walls. We've installed dimmable fluorescent lighting with in-room controls, so you can set exactly the right atmosphere whether you're diving into detailed presentations or hosting informal breakout sessions. What really sets this room apart is its flexibility. We regularly reconfigure it from U-shaped arrangements for 21 participants to cabaret style for 48, or classroom setup for 30. The private staircase connecting directly to the Harvey Goodwin Suite above gives you natural flow for larger events, perhaps using one space for your main session and the other for refreshments or breakout discussions. The technical capabilities here match any modern conference facility. Beyond the LED screen and complimentary WiFi, we've equipped the room for web-streaming and live broadcasting, knowing how many meetings now blend in-person and remote participants. Air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, and full wheelchair accessibility ensures all your colleagues can join you. Reception-style events work wonderfully here too, with space for up to 120 guests to mingle comfortably. The neutral colour palette and professional atmosphere mean the room works equally well for morning strategy sessions or evening networking events.
