The Avon room opens directly onto our ground floor conference corridor, making it wonderfully accessible for delegates arriving with equipment or materials. This 120-square-metre space accommodates 110 people in theatre layout, though we find many clients prefer the classroom setup for 60, which gives everyone proper desk space for laptops and notes. Our AV technician sets up the Crestron touch-control system before you arrive, connecting it to the ceiling-mounted projector and PA system. We keep lapel, handheld and over-ear microphones ready in the room, so presenters can choose what works best for their style. The projector screen runs the full width of the front wall, ensuring clear visibility from every seat. Natural light streams through the windows, keeping energy levels up during long sessions. We've installed proper air conditioning that maintains a consistent temperature, something delegates always mention they appreciate. The blue walls create a calm working atmosphere, and we've mounted display rails at eye level for posters or additional materials. The ergonomic chairs support proper posture through extended meetings, with a design that allows easy movement when rearranging layouts. For boardroom setups, we configure for 32 people around tables, while U-shape arrangements work well for 24 participants who need to see each other clearly. Your booking includes access to the break-out area just outside, where we keep fresh coffee, tea and snacks replenished throughout the day. The ground floor location means no lifts or stairs for anyone with mobility requirements, and there's plenty of space to set up registration desks or exhibition materials in the corridor. Past clients have used Avon successfully for training workshops, product launches, annual meetings and examination sessions. The room's rectangular proportions and clear sightlines work particularly well for presentations where audience interaction matters.
