The Organ Factory stands as our most distinctive meeting space, housed within the Victorian workshop where organ builder Walter Hopkins once crafted his instruments. The original organ still presides over the room, creating an atmosphere that sparks conversation before your meeting even begins. We've configured this historic space to accommodate various setups, from boardroom meetings for 25 to theatre-style presentations for 40 delegates. The room's versatility extends to classroom layouts for 20, U-shaped arrangements for 18, or cabaret style for 25 participants. For networking events and receptions, we can welcome up to 40 guests comfortably. Large arched windows frame the space, their original stained glass panels casting coloured light across the room throughout the day. We've installed an 88" LCD flat screen for presentations, complemented by superfast Wi-Fi that handles video conferences without hesitation. Flipcharts and stationery supplies are always ready at hand. Our venue sits just five minutes' walk from York Station, making arrival straightforward for teams travelling from across the country. We provide on-site parking, removing the usual city-centre parking concerns. The Organ Factory works particularly well for training sessions, board meetings, and team workshops where the unique setting helps stimulate creative thinking. During breaks, delegates can step into our courtyard gardens or grab refreshments from our restaurant, which prepares everything using Yorkshire ingredients. We arrange catering to suit your schedule, from working lunches to afternoon tea. Those staying overnight in our 56 guest rooms receive complimentary access to Emperors Gym, York's largest city-centre fitness facility. Our team helps configure the space exactly as you need it, whether that's a formal boardroom setup or a more relaxed cabaret arrangement for interactive sessions.
