The golden afternoon light catches the oil painting above our fireplace in The Lounge, where the portrait's gilded background seems to glow against the deep burgundy walls. This is where many of our corporate groups choose to start their day, settling into the leather armchairs with morning coffee while finalising their presentation notes. We've arranged the space around an original Victorian fireplace, with clusters of sofas and armchairs that naturally encourage conversation. The room holds up to 50 people for standing receptions, though many groups prefer our boardroom configuration for 18, where the intimate scale keeps discussions focused. The eclectic artwork scattered across the walls, from abstract pieces to that distinctive golden portrait, tends to spark unexpected conversations during breaks. The Georgian windows overlook Russell Square, bringing in streams of natural light that change throughout the day. We often see groups gravitating towards these window seats during brainstorming sessions, laptops balanced on knees as they work through problems together. The movable furniture means we can transform the space completely, from U-shaped arrangements for training workshops to cleared floors for networking events. The Study sits right next door, connected by double doors that we can open to create one flowing space. Groups often use it as a refreshment area, keeping The Lounge clear for the main activities. Our in-house café supplies everything from proper espresso to sandwich platters, delivered directly to your room when needed. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Holborn, Euston, and Kings Cross St. Pancras stations all within walking distance. Our reception team will guide you through the building's layout on arrival, showing you where to find our Tech Hub for any printing needs and explaining how the room's AV equipment connects to your devices.

I had an incredibly good experience booking a meeting room with CIEE Global Institute-London. All the staff from the Bookings Team, to Reception and Catering made this a very pleasant experience. Helpful, friendly and accommodating - would definitely book again!
