When your team steps into the Calthorpe Suite through our first-floor entrance, the garden views immediately set a productive tone for the day ahead. This spacious meeting room has become our most requested space for corporate gatherings, and we understand why after hosting countless training sessions, board meetings and company presentations here. The natural light pouring through the large windows overlooking our garden lawn keeps energy levels high during full-day workshops, while the vibrant red and blue upholstered chairs add warmth without feeling overly formal. We've configured this room in every possible layout, from intimate boardroom setups for 45 executives to theatre-style presentations for up to 100 delegates. The flexibility extends to classroom arrangements for 60 participants, U-shaped configurations for 45, or banquet seating for 80 when combining meetings with dining. Our technical setup covers everything modern meetings require: projector, flatscreen TV, flipchart, whiteboard and PA system all ready for immediate use. The complimentary Wi-Fi and hardwired internet connections mean your presenters won't face those awkward buffering moments mid-presentation. Our dedicated conference staff member stays nearby throughout your event, handling any technical adjustments or last-minute requests. Catering becomes part of the meeting experience here, not just a break between sessions. Our kitchen prepares everything from working lunches to formal dinners, with halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free options available. You can also bring external caterers for a buyout fee if you prefer specific suppliers. The alcohol licence until midnight allows for networking drinks after formal proceedings end. The combination of free on-site parking and proximity to New Street and Five Ways stations solves the usual attendance concerns. Our 44 en-suite rooms prove particularly useful for multi-day training programs or when delegates travel from distant offices.
