The Bothy sits up on the top floor, where we've created something rather special with wood-panelled walls and a genuine log stack that catches everyone's eye when they first walk in. Those skis mounted on the wall? They're not just decoration, they set the tone for the kind of creative thinking that happens here. We've designed this space for groups of up to 8 people around our boardroom table, and the natural light that pours through the large windows keeps energy levels high throughout the day. The room has this wonderful way of making formal discussions feel less formal, perhaps it's the mountain lodge atmosphere or the way the comfortable armchairs invite people to continue conversations after the main meeting wraps up. Our venue is just around the corner from Haymarket station, so your team can easily hop off the train and be settled in within minutes. We know the little things matter, which is why we've made sure the Wi-Fi actually works properly and the whiteboard is always stocked with fresh markers. You're welcome to bring your own catering or have your favourite lunch spot deliver directly here, and yes, if someone needs to bring their dog along, that's absolutely fine with us. Recent feedback has been brilliant, with one group specifically requesting The Bothy for all their future co-working sessions. Another team mentioned they'd never felt so relaxed in a meeting space, which is exactly what we were hoping to achieve when we fitted out this room. The combination of Edinburgh's historical building charm with practical modern workspace needs seems to hit the right note for strategy sessions, creative workshops, or those important discussions that need a bit of breathing room.

The venue was perfect, it had everything we needed and more. The facilities are great and I’ll definitely be using the room again, great value too. The staff were so helpful too and it was in an ideal location.
