We've kept the original period fireplace as a reminder of the building's Victorian heritage, though these days it frames our modern flatscreen TV rather than warming winter gatherings. This compact space works brilliantly for different setups. Configure it boardroom-style for 8, theatre-style for 10, or clear the tables entirely for standing receptions of 15 guests. The large window overlooking Fleet Street floods the room with natural light, while the wooden floors and carefully chosen artwork create a professional yet comfortable environment for your discussions. Our venue sits just minutes from both Blackfriars and City Thameslink stations, making it simple for participants to reach us from anywhere in London. Step-free access ensures everyone can navigate the building comfortably. The Caxton Room includes all the technical basics: reliable Wi-Fi throughout, AV facilities for presentations, plus flipchart and PA system when you need them. Many clients use this as their main meeting room, while others book it alongside our larger Salisbury Room next door, using Caxton for registration, catering, or breakout sessions. The flexibility extends to refreshments too. Our in-house team can prepare anything from working lunches to afternoon tea, or you're welcome to bring external caterers. We also offer BYO alcohol options for those informal evening gatherings. The peaceful atmosphere makes it particularly good for strategy sessions, interviews, and small training workshops.
