Our Boardroom 1 creates exactly the right atmosphere when you need a focused space for up to 18 people. The polished table anchors the room, surrounded by leather chairs that keep everyone comfortable during those longer strategy sessions. We've positioned artwork thoughtfully along the walls, adding character without distraction. Natural light streams through the windows throughout the day, which we find makes a real difference to energy levels during meetings. When presentations are on the agenda, the projector and screen are ready to go, backed by reliable free Wi-Fi that handles video calls and file sharing without a hitch. The chandeliers overhead provide warm lighting that works particularly well as afternoon turns to evening, maintaining that professional feel while avoiding the harsh fluorescents found in many meeting spaces. We keep a refreshment station stocked in the corner, so coffee and tea are always within reach, plus snacks for when discussions run long. Being part of our larger hotel complex brings practical advantages. Your team can arrive via the main transport routes that connect County Durham, and if anyone's travelling from further afield, they can book one of our 127 guest rooms.
