The Boardroom occupies a generous corner space on one of our upper floors, where natural light pours through large windows overlooking the leafy streets of Fishergate. Twenty-five people can gather comfortably around the substantial wooden table, its polished surface reflecting the daylight that fills the room throughout the working day. We've kept the original Victorian proportions of this space, with high ceilings that create an open, breathing atmosphere for longer meetings. The upholstered chairs support participants through extended sessions, while the neutral walls and subtle blue door maintain a professional environment without feeling corporate or cold. On darker days, the recessed ceiling lights provide even illumination across the entire room. For presentations, we've installed a projector screen at one end of the room, positioned so everyone has clear sightlines. A flip chart stand waits in the corner for brainstorming sessions or when you need to capture ideas quickly. The room's rectangular layout encourages conversation flow, whether you're conducting formal board meetings, team training sessions, or strategic planning workshops. Our venue sits just ten minutes' walk from York city centre, making it accessible for local teams and visiting colleagues alike. The train station is a short taxi ride away, and we're removed enough from the tourist areas that your meetings won't be interrupted by the usual city centre distractions.
