The Cellar Bar sits tucked away downstairs in our venue, offering your team a private retreat from the bustle of Bloomsbury above. This self-contained meeting space has its own dedicated entrance from street level, which many of our corporate clients find particularly useful for discrete gatherings or when hosting external visitors. We've configured the room to seat 16 comfortably around our boardroom table, though we regularly reconfigure the space depending on what works best for your session. The classroom setup accommodates 10, while theatre-style we can fit 16 delegates. The large wall-mounted LCD screen catches everyone's attention during presentations, and we've found it works particularly well for video calls with international teams. The warm lighting and patterned carpeting create an atmosphere that feels professional yet relaxed, quite different from typical corporate meeting rooms. Our air conditioning keeps the temperature just right, especially important in a lower-ground space. The reliable, fast WiFi means your team can access cloud documents and join virtual meetings without any connection worries. What makes the Cellar Bar particularly versatile is how it transforms throughout the day. Morning strategy sessions flow naturally into working lunches, and we can arrange catering directly to your room without disrupting the conversation. For training days, the U-shaped configuration for 12 participants encourages discussion while maintaining clear sightlines to your presenter. Russell Square station is a three-minute walk, with Holborn just slightly further, making it simple for participants to reach us from across London. After your meeting concludes, the British Museum provides an interesting backdrop for continued discussions over coffee, while Covent Garden's restaurants offer plenty of options for team dinners.
