The Fraser Room combines the character of our Victorian mansion with everything today's meetings demand. Wood paneling lines the walls, creating that focused atmosphere where important conversations naturally unfold, while soft carpeting absorbs sound to keep discussions private. We've configured this space to work equally well for boardroom sessions of 35 or theatre presentations to 50 delegates. The flexibility extends beyond numbers, with our team regularly transforming the layout between morning workshops and afternoon presentations. Natural light streams through the windows overlooking our grounds, though blinds give you complete control when presentations require it. Our venue sits just four miles from Aberdeen city center, making it convenient for delegates arriving by train or flying into Aberdeen International. Yet once they're here, the surrounding Aberdeenshire countryside creates genuine separation from office distractions. Many groups tell us this balance helps them think differently about challenges they've been wrestling with back at their desks. The traditional features you'll notice, from the period paneling to the proportions of the room itself, come from the building's 19th-century origins. We've preserved these elements while integrating modern conference technology seamlessly. Power points are positioned exactly where laptop users need them, and our AV setup handles everything from simple presentations to video conferences. Between sessions, delegates often step out to our adjoining spaces for coffee breaks or working lunches. The proximity to our other facilities means quick access to everything else our venue offers, from additional breakout spaces to the spa facilities many groups book for post-meeting relaxation.
