The Georgian fireplace catches your eye first in the Caledonian Room, its original mantlepiece perfectly preserved from when this building first graced St James's Square. We've arranged eight leather chairs around our polished boardroom table here, creating a space where important conversations feel both focused and comfortable. Natural light pours through those distinctive arched windows throughout the day, illuminating the intricate ceiling moldings that have watched over centuries of London business. The room sits conveniently on the ground floor, right next to our Members' Lounge, so your team can step out for coffee breaks without disrupting the flow of longer strategy sessions. We've equipped the space with everything productive meetings require: a large whiteboard for brainstorming, flipchart for capturing key points, and full audiovisual setup including teleconferencing facilities. The PA system ensures everyone can hear clearly, whether you're presenting quarterly results or running a training workshop. Our regular clients particularly value how the room's acoustics keep conversations private while maintaining that warm, collaborative atmosphere. The Caledonian Room works beautifully for board meetings, team briefings, client presentations, or interview panels.
