The Gun Room sits on the first floor, right beside The Auction Hall, where soft daylight pours through both a generous window and overhead skylight. We've kept this space intimate by design, with room for four people around our oval wooden table. The warm, earthy walls create a calming backdrop for focused conversations, whether you're conducting interviews, holding small team sessions, or connecting with colleagues virtually. We chose each piece of furniture with comfort in mind, particularly the woven-back chairs that support longer meetings without fatigue. A carefully curated selection of books rests on the side table, while framed artwork adds character without distraction. When afternoon light begins to fade, the modern floor lamp in the corner provides just the right amount of additional illumination. For presentations and collaborative work, we've installed an HD TV with ClickShare technology, making screen sharing effortless. Video conferencing capabilities and high-speed WiFi mean remote participants feel just as present as those in the room. Between sessions, you're welcome to refresh in The Auction Hall, where our bean-to-cup coffee machine, selection of teas, and snacks are always available on a self-serve basis. The central Edinburgh location means most guests reach us easily via public transport, with several bus stops and tram connections nearby. Once inside, the combination of natural light, thoughtful furnishings, and modern technology creates an environment where productive dialogue flows naturally. We find The Gun Room works particularly well for confidential discussions, client consultations, or any meeting where a quiet, professional atmosphere matters most.
