Walking through our grand Victorian lobby, you'll find the Thunderbolt room tucked away on the ground floor, where two walls of generous windows catch the morning light perfectly. This 9.98 by 6.70 meter space has become one of our most requested meeting rooms, and it's easy to see why when you step inside. The natural daylight streaming through those windows creates an atmosphere that keeps energy levels high throughout even the longest sessions. We've arranged ergonomic chairs around tables fitted with built-in power sockets, so laptops and devices stay charged without anyone hunting for outlets. The vibrant red carpet underfoot adds warmth to the neutral walls, while soft drapery frames each window, allowing you to adjust the light as needed. Our AV setup includes a large screen positioned for clear visibility from every seat, whether you're presenting quarterly results to 28 board members or hosting a training session for 70 delegates in theatre style. The room adapts beautifully to different configurations, from U-shaped arrangements for 25 participants to classroom setups for 24, or even intimate banquets for 30 guests. Being on the ground floor means easy access for all attendees, with no need to navigate stairs or wait for lifts during busy periods. The proximity to our main entrance allows quick coffee runs between sessions, while maintaining the privacy your meeting requires. Teams particularly appreciate how the space feels separate from the hotel's bustle, yet remains connected to all our facilities. For those travelling from abroad, Paddington Station sits just steps away, offering the Heathrow Express service that brings international colleagues from the airport in 15 minutes.
