Our Run Run Shaw Theatre and Mezzanine combines the intimacy of a private screening room with the technical prowess expected from Britain's film and television academy. This third-floor space seats 41 in the theatre itself, with tiered rows ensuring every guest enjoys perfect sightlines to the screen. We've equipped this room with a Christie DCI Cinema projection system and Dolby Atmos sound, the same technology used in commercial cinemas. The technical booth gives you complete control over video switching and sound, making presentations flow as smoothly as film screenings. Board members particularly appreciate how the plush seating and warm lighting create a focused yet comfortable environment for strategic discussions. The adjoining mezzanine expands your options considerably. While the theatre handles formal presentations, the mezzanine works beautifully for pre-meeting coffee or post-screening discussions. Together, these spaces accommodate various configurations: 35 for boardroom meetings, 50 in theatre style, 60 for seated dinners, or up to 120 for standing receptions. Natural light on the mezzanine level provides a refreshing contrast to the theatre's purposeful darkness.
