Our Charnwood Suite combines centuries-old character with everything you need for productive meetings. Exposed wooden beams run across the ceiling, and the original brickwork from 1672 creates a warm backdrop that helps people relax and engage more naturally than they might in glass-walled conference rooms. We can arrange the suite for different group sizes and styles: 36 people around a boardroom table, 24 in classroom rows, 60 in theatre seating, or 30 in a U-shape configuration. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light throughout the day, which we find helps maintain energy levels during longer sessions. The LCD projector and flipchart are ready when you need them, positioned so everyone has a clear view regardless of the layout. The space works particularly well for teams who want to step away from their usual environment. Between sessions, groups often move to our restaurant or bar areas for breakout discussions. The contrast between the formal meeting space and our more relaxed public areas, complete with open fires, seems to spark different types of conversations. We serve proper meals throughout the day, not just sandwiches, and keep the coffee flowing. Our venue sits in Markfield village with free parking for all attendees. Leicester city centre is nearby for those arriving by train, and we're well-positioned if you're planning to incorporate some outdoor activities, Bradgate Park and Stoneywell are both close by. For multi-day meetings, we have 28 guest rooms, each with its own character, en-suite bathroom, proper desk space and reliable Wi-Fi. The minimum booking is for 6 people at £150, with an additional £25 per person after that. This includes your buffet lunch plus teas and coffees throughout the day.
