Running a workspace at the intersection of King's Cross and Pentonville Road means we see every type of business come through our doors at Fora - York House. From tech startups booking our smaller 3-desk offices to established companies taking our 50-desk suites, the mix keeps things interesting. The building itself tells quite a story - we worked with dMFK architects to completely reimagine what was a pretty standard 1980s office block. Now, timber frames the entrance at 221 Pentonville Road, and once you're inside, the transformation becomes clear. Natural light pours through every floor, and we've installed solar panels on the roof alongside our rainwater harvesting system. The recycled tyre flooring in our gym always gets people talking - it's part of our Excellent BREEAM certification that we're particularly proud of. Our two-tiered gym, run by Manor Gyms, stays busy from early morning sessions through lunchtime workouts. The café serves proper food - not just sandwiches - and our community teams keep the coffee stations stocked throughout the day. We've got seven meeting rooms that external clients regularly book, from intimate spaces for four people up to rooms that handle larger presentations. The outdoor terraces make a real difference, especially our 7th-floor rooftop space. Teams often take their laptops up there when the weather cooperates, and we've hosted everything from casual Friday drinks to proper networking events with those city views as backdrop. Being three minutes from King's Cross St Pancras means people appreciate the convenience - Camden and Euston are both nearby too. Our reception team handles the daily details: mail, guest sign-ins, making sure the tech works properly in meeting rooms. Clients consistently mention how smooth their experience is here, whether they're booking a meeting room for two hours or settling into a long-term office arrangement.
