The grand Steinway piano catches the afternoon light through tall windows in our concert salon, where musicians gather to rehearse and perform throughout the week. We've made our home in a 1901 schoolmaster's residence near Waterloo, transforming these Victorian rooms into spaces where chamber music fills the air and business meetings unfold against wood-paneled walls. Our concert salon serves as the heart of the 1901 Arts Club, where that Steinway grand piano takes center stage. Gold curtains frame the windows, and the original parquet flooring has witnessed countless performances. We host up to 45 guests here, whether they're attending an intimate concert, conducting auditions, or gathering for corporate presentations. The acoustics work beautifully for live streaming too—many artists broadcast their performances directly from this room. Just steps away, our bar and lounge offers a different energy. With our late license, meetings can transition naturally into evening receptions, and party guests can move between the formal salon and this more relaxed space. The bar stocks a thoughtful selection, and the comfortable seating encourages conversation long into the night. Our meeting room maintains the house's original character—wood paneling runs along the walls, creating a focused environment for board meetings, workshops, or small corporate gatherings. We've kept the Victorian elegance while ensuring the space works for modern business needs.
