Running a community centre means we're constantly adapting our spaces to meet different needs, and our co-working area at Acton Gardens Community Centre has become a real hub for local professionals and start-ups. We've set up 23 hot desks in an open-plan layout that gets fantastic natural light throughout the day, making it a genuinely pleasant place to work. Our South Acton location puts you right in the heart of the community, with easy access to local transport and amenities. The workspace itself comes with everything you need for productive days - reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable desk chairs that won't leave you aching after long sessions, and personal lockers for storing your belongings securely. We've noticed many of our regular desk users appreciate having access to our kitchen facilities for coffee breaks and lunch prep, plus the botanical terrace when they need some fresh air between tasks. What makes our co-working space particularly practical is its connection to the wider community centre. The main hall downstairs can accommodate up to 120 seated guests and comes equipped with a projector and PA system, while our two meeting rooms can host smaller groups or combine for gatherings up to 60 people. This means if you're working here and need to host a client presentation or team workshop, you can easily book additional space without leaving the building. We maintain the entire centre with air conditioning, mobility access throughout, and two commercial kitchens. Our on-site staff are here to help with any queries, and we provide storage facilities for regular users.
