We cook real Southern American food right here at Americana, 11 Haymarket, where the smell of slow-barbecued lamb shoulder fills our dining room from morning prep through to our 1am close. Our open kitchen lets your guests watch as we flame-grill pork belly and glaze it with our house-made apple and chili marmalade - it's become quite the conversation starter at parties. The Gallery upstairs transforms beautifully for private events. We can seat 40 of your guests for a proper sit-down dinner, or clear the tables for cocktail receptions where everyone mingles between the contemporary artwork on our walls. Just below, our hidden cocktail bar holds another 50 people - perfect when you want that speakeasy feel for your celebration. The main restaurant downstairs seats 70, and we keep the kitchen firing until 1am Monday through Saturday (8pm on Sundays). From 8pm each night, our jazz musicians and violin players add their own energy to the room. We've found the live music really changes the atmosphere - what starts as dinner often turns into an impromptu dance floor by 10pm. Our vegetarian and vegan dishes get the same attention as our barbecue, so everyone at your party eats well. Being right in Theatreland means your guests can easily find us from Piccadilly Circus tube, and we're used to pre-theatre crowds mixing with late-night party groups. Natural light pours through our windows during afternoon events, while warm lighting takes over for evening celebrations. Whether you're planning a birthday bash in the cocktail bar or taking over the Gallery for a company celebration, we handle everything from the food service to helping coordinate the entertainment that makes your night memorable.
