The moment you step through our doors at AMP Studios, you'll understand why couples and event planners keep coming back to these two Victorian railway arches on Old Kent Road. We've kept the original exposed brickwork from the 1800s, which gives our space that raw, authentic character you just can't recreate in modern venues. Our main event space flows naturally between the two arches, creating distinct areas while maintaining that open feel perfect for mingling. The real game-changer is our covered courtyard and pavilion - we added the covering after too many British summers taught us that "outdoor reception" shouldn't mean "scrambling for umbrellas." Now you can plan your drinks reception or alfresco dining without checking weather apps every five minutes. We hold licenses for everything you'd need: music and dance until midnight, full bar service, live performances, and yes, we're licensed for wedding ceremonies too. That means you can say your vows and celebrate all in one spot - no rushing between venues, no transport headaches. We've hosted up to 300 people for standing receptions, seated 110 for wedding breakfasts, and arranged 100 chairs theatre-style for ceremonies. The practical stuff matters too. Our loading bay takes vehicles directly inside (brilliant for bands, caterers, or that surprise classic car exit), and the back courtyard works perfectly for catering setups, keeping kitchen operations away from your celebration. We provide tables and chairs, though most couples bring in their own styling to transform the space - we've seen everything from hanging gardens to disco balls suspended from the arches. Getting here is straightforward: Queens Road Peckham station is a 10-minute walk, New Cross Gate takes 15 minutes. Most wedding parties find the SE15 location surprisingly convenient, with plenty of local hotels for out-of-town guests.
