The ground floor bar at Balls Brothers Minster Court buzzes with City workers from early morning through late evening, just a short walk from Fenchurch Street Station. We've created distinct spaces throughout the building that work brilliantly for everything from quick business lunches to full-scale corporate presentations. Our main bar area opens directly onto a covered terrace through folding doors, giving groups that indoor-outdoor flow that's particularly popular during summer months. The space comfortably handles casual gatherings and birthday celebrations, with our kitchen serving everything from gourmet sandwiches to substantial bar meals throughout the day. We maintain an extensive wine list alongside craft beers and our bartenders' signature cocktails. For seated dining, our restaurant provides a more intimate setting with its own dedicated bar. The kitchen team prepares classic British and European dishes with creative touches, and we regularly adapt menus for private groups. The separate bar means your party never needs to leave the dining area for refills. Our real flexibility shows downstairs in the Minster Suite. This basement level transforms from one large space hosting 280 standing guests into three distinct rooms - Chablis, Bordeaux, and Burgundy. We recently installed new audio-visual equipment throughout, including screens, projectors, PA systems, microphones and iPod docking stations in each section. For presentations, we have lecterns and microphone stands ready to set up. The suite handles 180 seated comfortably for formal dinners or conferences. Our catering team creates extensive menus with proper vegan and gluten-free options integrated throughout rather than as afterthoughts. Whether you're planning morning meetings, product launches, quiz nights or Christmas celebrations, we configure the space to match. Complimentary WiFi runs throughout the building, from terrace to basement.
